Malaysian Institute of Human Resource Management (MIHRM) was established in 1975 under the name Malaysian Institute of Personnel Management (MIPM), as a sole national institute in conducting training for HR professionals. Rising to the government challenge to move the nation towards a world-class workforce, the national HR Awards today are more important than ever, to recognize and reflect the standard to be reached by every company and individual.
The Malaysia HR Awards is an annual event organized by the Malaysian Institute of Human Resource Management (MIHRM) in partnership with KELLY SERVICES, the No.1 global recruitment company in Malaysia. The Awards are strongly supported and endorsed by the government of which YB Datuk Wira Dr. Fong Chan Onn is the patron of the MIHRM and the Awards.
The Malaysia HR Awards objectives are:

to raise awareness of Human Resources in the general business community and to encourage due recognition of the contributions, role and positive impact of the effective and innovative Human Resource Leaders in the performance of business;

to raise the standards and overall competence of the HRM community in the pursuit of excellence in their profession and to support national human resource development to ensure the success of the Ninth Malaysia Plan (9MP) in line with the Vision 2020 with the purpose of contributing to the nation’s competitiveness internationally.
